LG G Watch

LG G Watch Overview

Think about how many times you pull your phone out of your pocket, bag or off your desk each day. It will probably surprise you just how many times you do.
The new breed of smartwatches running Google’s Android Wear is set to change this.
No longer needing to physically handle your phone to check for messages, missed calls and reminders, these micro interactions can now be handled by a wrist mounted watch.
The LG G Watch is one of the first devices to run Android Wear that takes the power and functionality of Google’s Now notification system to make it really work for you.
This means that, rather than simply being a basic second display for notifications, as has been the case with Smartwatches for a couple of years, the LG G Watch will be able to provide rich, personalised information based on your location, environment, contacts and calendar.
The 1.65” IPS, always on touchscreen display on the G Watch interface allows for slick touch navigation through a series of 'cards'. These cards can provide you with notifications such as text alerts, journey & travel details, appointment reminders, games and music updates.
Google Now also allows for smart voice recognition with familiar "OK Google" phrase that is tailored to your voice. Find out the latest scores, train times or flight information without the need to reach for your phone, even get navigation on your wrist.
Designed for all day comfort and to fit into your life, rather than you working around it, the G Watch comes in a couple of colour options and has a standard 22mm watch strap so you can change it or add your own to make it more personal to you. A totally unisex product, the typical male oriented design has gone and the G Watch is for anyone.
For added peace of mind the watch is IP67 rated meaning getting wet is not a problem, it is designed to survive.
Powered by an internal 400mAh battery this smartwatch will keep you connected throughout your working day. When power is low, just sit it in the charging dock and replenish the battery for many more hours of use away from power.
Connecting to any Android device that has Android 4.3 or later and a Bluetooth 4.0 connection, the G Watch is not limited to LG products.
With the LG G Watch powered by Android Wear, your phone can stay firmly in your pocket until you really need it and you can be more productive and informed throughout your day.
